Citizens will be equipped with knowledge and skills to use digital platforms in the fields of e-commerce, e-learning, health, and public services according to the orientation to promote digital transformation in 2022 by the Ministry of Information and Communications. There are six types of digital platforms that will be universalized among people and businesses this year: e-commerce platforms, online teaching platforms, health consulting support platforms, consumer service platforms regarding essential services, an online public service platform, and production and business platforms.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, access to digital knowledge and basic skills to utilize these platforms are crucial for citizens to participate in the digital transformation process and equally benefit from these digital services.

Citizens, households, and businesses can integrate their activities into the digital ecosystem as a result of the universalization process. For example, agricultural production households and individuals will be able to list their products on e-commerce websites, while the health consulting support platform will directly connect citizens in remote areas with doctors, providing medical examination and treatment consultation with hospitals via online communication platforms.

To implement such a plan, local community digital technology groups will be established to support citizens in using digital technology. To develop the digital economy, groups of instructors will guide businesses, households, and individuals in the area to use e-commerce platforms, teaching basic skills like uploading photos, promoting products, receiving applications, and packing products.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the implementation strategies must be suitable with respect to the local areas’ characteristics so that  people can access technology with ease. The particular plan for local areas must be based on demand and thereby create practical value. The representative of the Ministry also said that 2022 will be the year to promote digital transformation, after the process of promoting awareness of digital transformation (2020) and implementing digital transformation during the pandemic (2021).

The main goals of 2022 are to bring the activities of people and businesses to the digital environment through the universalization of Vietnamese digital platforms, aiding people and businesses to benefit from the convenience and other advantages of digital transformation, “said the representative of the Ministry.

After the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for human resources with programming skills is increasing, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Competent computer programmers are being sought after by many businesses, with attractive salaries, opportunities working in a modern and professional environment and presented with many opportunities for personal development. The opportunity to be recruited and work in the information technology industry is now not only for those who major in this field at colleges and universities, but also open to anyone with a passion.

In fact, more and more short-term training centers and online course have been established in recent times to capture recruitment opportunities. Nonetheless, the issue of output quality, and more importantly, job opportunities for students, is usually not guaranteed. In addition, the majority of potential students do not know where to start and lack the opportunity to practice on real projects with guidance from an expert.

Realizing these problems, Axon Active, a software production company from Switzerland with more than 12 years of experience in the software industry in Vietnam, has designed a special program to train beginners to become competent programmers. The program addresses the top concerns of students, especially for those who are hoping to get a job in within a year.

The training program is designed and guided by a team of experts with many year of experience working at Axon. Student will have the opportunity to learn practical skills in a real-life professional environment. Each selected candidate will be funded by the company with 100% of the tuition fees.

“With years of experience developing software for clients around the world, we know exactly what knowledge and skills a programmer needs to have in order to be successful. The program has been successful in brining opportunities to people who are not specialized in the programming field”, said Mr. Markus Baur, CEO of Axon.
